The Computer Networking Group is involved in numerous areas of networking research, such as QoS-oriented Scheduling, MAC protocols design and evaluation, Network Modeling, Mobile Computing, Sensor Networks, Cellular Networks, Broadband technologies, Internet of Things. Its members are involved in teaching subjects closely related to their research fields (such as Computer Networks, Advanced Network Architectures, Computer Network Applications and Services, Mobile Computing). The CNG research and teaching is carried out in collaboration with industries and research institutions, such as Telecom Italia Lab, Nokia, Nokia Siemens Networks, Thales Alenia Space Italia. The Computer Networking Group is part of the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa, Italy.

  • IEEE Infocom 2014 - 33rd IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications (Toronto, Canada, April 27 - May 2, 2014).
  • IEEE WF-IoT 2014 - IEEE World Forum on Internet of Things (Seoul, South Korea, March 6-8, 2014).
  • InfQ 2014, Annual workshop of the Italian Quantitative Informatics group (co-located with IFIP-Performance 2014).
