The Computer Networking Group is involved in numerous areas of networking research, such as QoS-oriented Scheduling, MAC protocols design and evaluation, Network Modeling, Mobile Computing, and Ad-Hoc Networks. Its members are involved in teaching subjects closely related to their research fields (such as Computer Networks, Advanced Network Architectures, Computer Network Applications and Services, Mobile Computing). The CNG research and teaching is carried out in collaboration with industries and research institutions, such as Telecom Italia Lab, Nokia, and Cisco. The Computer Networking Group is part of the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa, Italy.
